Ready to Compete at the Team NJ Showcase

This weekend, I’ll be competing in the Team NJ Fall Showcase, one of the most competitive and highly scouted softball tournaments in the country. It’s an incredible opportunity to play at the 16U level, even though I’m still age-eligible for 14U, and I couldn’t be more excited to take the field against some of the best players on the East Coast.

The Team NJ Showcase has earned a strong reputation over the years as one of the premier college recruiting events in travel softball. Coaches from top NCAA Division I, II, and III programs attend to watch elite athletes compete. It’s an event where players can truly test themselves, gain exposure, and take the next step toward their college softball goals — and I’m ready to make the most of it.

All fall, I’ve been putting in the work to prepare for moments like this. From private pitching lessons with Coach Akilah Mouzon to hitting sessions with Steve Kania, I’ve focused on building strength, refining my command, and trusting my preparation. Just last night, I worked with Coach Mouzon on gaining more velocity and sharpening my changeup, which has been really effective lately. Every bullpen and every rep has been about improving my game and developing the confidence to compete at a higher level.

Playing 16U this season as a younger athlete has challenged me in the best way possible. The competition is tougher, the game moves faster, and the expectations are higher — but I love that. It pushes me to stay composed, attack hitters, and prove that I belong at this level.

I’m looking forward to representing myself and all the hard work that’s gone into my training.

The Team NJ Showcase is a place where dedication meets opportunity — and I’m ready to compete, learn, and keep moving closer to my goals.
